Biological Specialty Corporation provides researchers with whole blood, serum, plasma, platelets, leukocytes, granulocytes, lymphocytes, monocytes, packed red blood cells, mother's milk, urine, semen, saliva, animal products, disease state plasmas, RBC antibodies, HLA antibodies, and numerous IgG products. We also provide cell isolation and other special treatments related to delipidization, ultrafiltration, charcoal treatment, defibrination, cell concentrates, and Alsevers solution.

If possible, we will utilize any commercially available anticoagulant per end-user specifications and, upon request, we can also assist with your long-term coagulation projects. Our Developmental Services Department offers free consultations with a blood services expert to determine the most appropriate products and services to meet your specific needs, use of our on-site developmental lab, 3 distinct donor populations, laboratory and donor room services, special donor screening, and extensive product processing capabilities. We design programs that specifically adapt to the needs of our clients and welcome the opportunity to develop a program that will meet your requirements.

Biological Specialty Corporation also provides therapeutic hemapheresis services to hospitals and outpatient facilities. Under the direction of our Medical Director, a highly trained staff performs over 100 procedures per month. We use state of the art instrumentation and work closely with equipment vendors to stay abreast of changing, improved technologies. Biological Specialty Corporation offers seminars/in-services to physicians and nurses and also gives the expertise of our Medical Director to our institutions' physicians at no cost to them.
