- Cell Isolations

- Delipidization
Lipids are removed from human serum or plasma.
- Protein Free Filtration
Proteins with a molecular weight greater than 30,000 are removed from serum or plasma. This procedure can be modified to suit your applications.
- Sterile Filtration
Serum or plasma is filtered though a .22 um filter.
- Charcoal Treatment
Generally used to deplete various hormones from serum or plasma.
- Defibrination
Sodium Citrate plasma is converted to serum.
- Alsevers Solution
Generally used to preserve red blood cells. Packed red blood cells are washed and shipped in Alsevers Solution.
- Buffy Coats
We collect 450 mls. of whole blood in the anticoagulant of your choice. The blood is centrifuged and the white blood cell layer is removed. This product does have red blood cell contamination. Each pack has 700 million cells (minimum). Cell counts will vary by donor.
- Washed Red Cells
Packed red blood cells are washed in saline.
- Cell Lysis
Blood cells are lysed using a hypotonic solution such as Ammonium Chloride.
